Walnut Flooring with Saw Marks

Walnut Flooring with Saw Marks

BEAUTIFUL APPEARANCE: Circle sawn flooring combines the beauty of natural wood with a huge variety of color and sheen options.

TEXTURE: These subtle differences in texture have a noticeable effect on the overall feel of the rooms. The subtle differences give a more natural and authentic look and feel to the floor. Many people believe that this process compliments the wood grain more fully.

EASY INSTALLATION: Circle sawn flooring, along with other rough sawn flooring products, are easier to install than standard flat hardwood floors. Rough sawn flooring is not designed to be perfectly flat, so this makes laying and sanding the flooring much easier than smooth finish wood floors.

Wood Flooring & Acclimation

Once your wood flooring is ordered you will be given a delivery date. Be sure that on the date of delivery you have an area in your new home or room where you can safely store your wood planks. When your wood is delivered it CANNOT be installed immediately. It must go through a process called ACCLIMATION. This is the process of allowing a wood floor’s moisture content to equilibrate (reach equilibrium) with its surrounding environment. NOTE: Wood flooring installation is usually one of the last jobs of any construction project..
