Custom Rustic Oak Tables for “Durants Party Rental”

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

We had these rustic oak tables made for Durants Party Rental who rent them primarily for wedding receptions. About 50 of them were purchased with matching benches. They are extremely durable, beautiful and are perfect for barn-style receptions. They are Amish-made without the benefit of electricity and are constructed with high-quality, solid wood made right here in American. We sell these tables for about $1,000 and up, depending on the size.

Character White Oak Flooring in Lake House

Candlewood Lake 010

This home sits on its own point overlooking Candlewood Lake in Western Connecticut. Beautifully built and situated, they chose a very wide plain Character White Oak floor. With it’s natural oil base polyurethane finish, all knots and characteristics of the wood show through. This was truly a spectacular project.

Affordable Custom Hardwood Furniture

Dining Furniture, Hardwood Custom Furniture

It started with a pie safe for our new home.  With our open floor plan, we had a lot of space but, little storage. So, then we got a hutch and another pie safe (double this time). Followed by a coffee table, a deacon’s bench, chairs, a trestle table and multiple sets of nesting tables.  Our final purchases from Housatonic Hardwoods were a bed frame and an entertainment center.

Since we no longer had a pick-up truck, Bob and his boys kindly, at no charge, delivered them to our home.  Perhaps they wanted to get a peek of the house the Amish furnished!”
